Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate the consolidation of multiple SAP ECC systems into a single target ECC environment. Manage business processes, project scope, timelines, milestones, risks, issues, and dependencies. Coordinate functional workstreams focused on Finance and SCM. Act as central project manager between business, IT teams, consultants, and external partners. Structure project governance, meetings, reporting, escalation, and decision processes. Drive alignment between business requirements and SAP consolidation strategy. Support definition and tracking of work packages including Finance, Controlling, Procurement, Supply Chain, Logistics, Master Data, Migration, Testing, Cutover, and Change Management. Facilitate Fit-Gap discussions, process harmonization, and functional design decisions. Ensure clear ownership of deliverables. Track project risks, open decisions, change requests, and critical activities. Prepare status reports and management presentations. Support test planning and execution, defect tracking, and business acceptance. Coordinate migration activities. Assist in cutover planning and hypercare setup. Facilitate communication among senior stakeholders, project teams, and business units. Maintain transparency, structure, and delivery focus throughout the 18-month engagement.
Qualifications
Several years of experience as SAP Project Manager, Program Manager, or Functional Lead in SAP transformation or consolidation projects. Proven expertise with SAP ECC; knowledge of SAP S/4HANA transformation is a strong plus. Strong functional understanding of SAP Finance and SCM processes. Experience with SAP consolidation, harmonization, migration, rollout, carve-out, merger, or post-merger integration projects. Skilled in managing complex cross-functional SAP projects from planning through execution. Strong leadership and stakeholder management abilities. Knowledge of project governance, reporting, risk and issue management, dependency tracking, and escalation. Familiarity with SAP project phases: fit-gap, design, build, testing, migration, cutover, go-live, hypercare. Good understanding of SAP Finance (FI/CO) and SCM processes. Experience in international, remote, cross-functional environments. Excellent English communication skills; German is beneficial but not required. Nearshore/European candidate preferred.
