Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with project and client quality standards by managing inspections, documentation, welding and NDT oversight, audits, and handover processes. Coordinate quality activities with project teams and subcontractors. Maintain quality records, close punch items, and enforce competency and certification requirements. Liaise with project stakeholders to ensure quality impacting activities meet project requirements. Ensure adherence to approved inspection and test plans, site-specific SOPs, and subcontractor quality standards. Oversee training including GMP compliance and competency management. Monitor and track NDT/NDE testing, welding history, welding procedures (WPQR, WPS, WQT), calibration records, and material certifications. Conduct line walkdowns to P&IDs. Generate and track punch lists. Manage piping test packs and system handover documentation. Collaborate with client QAQC representatives. Collect and report key quality performance indicators and benchmarks. Maintain and execute audit schedules, lead internal and client quality audits, and ensure prompt closure of audit actions. Perform visual welding inspections in accordance with CSWIP 3.0 standards.
Qualifications
Visual welding inspection certification CSWIP 3.0 minimum. Strong knowledge of piping isometrics and P&IDs. Experience with NDT/NDE oversight and weld history documentation. Familiarity with quality management systems and client project specifications. Experience managing inspections, audits, training, and quality documentation. Experience with welding procedure qualifications and material certifications. Ability to coordinate with multiple project stakeholders including subcontractors and clients. Knowledge or experience with EIDA software is advantageous. Work permit required for Germany. No specific German language requirement stated.
