Responsibilities
Create and maintain a scalable, accessible design system across all platform modules including forms, dashboards, training, and assessment tools. Design complex enterprise interfaces with role-based views, multi-tenant dashboards, and workflow tools for diverse users such as government stakeholders, school directors, and teachers. Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and external stakeholders to define interaction patterns, user flows, and information architecture. Build and sustain a component library in design tools like Figma. Utilize AI-assisted design tools to increase workflow efficiency. Conduct usability tests across diverse user contexts. Contribute to quantitative experiments to measure design impact. Support cross-functional teams in fast iteration cycles.
Qualifications
Proven experience with complex enterprise or B2B software design, especially multi-role platforms and data-heavy dashboards. Strong expertise in creating and evolving design systems, including component libraries and documentation. High proficiency with Figma and modern design tools, including AI-augmented design and prototyping tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, Figma AI). Experience designing for both web and mobile platforms. Ability to design for users from diverse cultural backgrounds and varying digital literacy levels. Willingness to travel internationally (e.g., Kenya, Nigeria) approximately 6-8 weeks per year. Preferred qualifications include experience with data visualization, accessibility standards (WCAG), and offline-first or low-connectivity environment design.
