Responsibilities
Define and lead the platform architecture and roadmap of photonic Native Processing Servers (NPS). Manage end-to-end execution from prototype building and hardware bring-up to system validation and maintenance. Collaborate across hardware, NPU development, and production teams to optimize system performance, density, and manufacturability. Develop scalable installation and deployment workflows involving cloud and enterprise data centers. Provide expert architectural support during customer deployments and integration. Translate engineering insights and market needs into platform innovations. Align platform strategies with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
Qualifications
Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field. Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in IT architecture, high-performance computing, or enterprise IT infrastructure. Expertise in server technologies, data center operations, cluster computing, high-density hardware design, power and thermal management, and hardware deployment including OS, networking, and low-level system configuration. Demonstrated product ownership and experience supporting technical sales or consulting. Familiarity with software development and AI workload integration preferred. Fluent in English; German or other European languages are advantageous.
