The role includes leading technical resolutions, designing and implementing network enhancements, maintaining routing and switching infrastructure, and collaborating across teams. Responsibilities

Provide advanced Level 3 support for complex NATO enterprise network environments; lead technical resolution of critical incidents; analyze recurring issues and implement corrective actions; identify and drive service optimization; design, plan, and implement network enhancements and projects; ensure operational readiness during changes and deployments; validate network changes per governance processes; coordinate routing and switching maintenance and standardization; liaise internally and externally for fault rectification; create and maintain standard operating procedures; design and maintain routing infrastructure for NATO exercises and operations; evaluate management tools; propose long-term solutions; conduct on-site surveys, validations, and system acceptance testing; maintain accurate technical documentation and promote knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in related discipline with minimum 2 years post-related experience or at least 8 years of progressive experience in complex network engineering roles for candidates without a degree. Active CCNP (Enterprise or Service Provider) certification required; CCIE preferred. Expertise with BGP, MPLS, IPv6, OSPF, IS-IS, IP multicast, SD-WAN, QoS, datacenter and switching technologies, Cisco NX-OS, network monitoring and automation tools (Python, Ansible, Terraform), network security best practices, incident management systems, configuration management, and ITIL service management. Experience working in international or military-civilian environments and valid National or NATO Secret security clearance mandatory.
