Responsibilities
Join a platform-oriented mobile team owning the architecture of the marketplace experience inside a retail app. Work mainly on webview architecture, cross-system communication, and scalability, maintaining selected native features. Shape integration of the marketplace into the app via modular, SDK-oriented architecture. Own full feature lifecycle including design, implementation, testing, release, and monitoring in app stores. Debug complex issues spanning native code, webviews, and frontend by collaborating with backend and frontend engineers. Participate in cross-team projects and have opportunities to work on backend services. Collaborate with product managers and designers to create data-driven product experiences validated by A/B testing. Ensure the app's observability, stability, and scalability in production.
Qualifications
Solid experience in Swift and/or Kotlin with flexibility for both platforms. Skilled in modular project architectures and confident in debugging complex codebases. A systems-thinking mindset to handle technical challenges spanning multiple layers and technologies. Backend development experience or strong motivation to learn (especially TypeScript and NestJS). Proficient in TDD principles producing clean, well-tested, maintainable code. Analytical mindset with strong production ownership including observability and monitoring. Ability to balance delivering immediate value with sustainable technical solutions. Comfortable integrating AI tools into development. Fluent English (C1) for dynamic international environments. Bonus: experience with mobile SDK development, cross-platform technologies like Kotlin Multiplatform, TypeScript debugging, A/B testing concepts (Optimizely), and observability tools like DataDog.
