Responsibilities

Lead the strategic vision and quality of the MHPSS thematic area and assigned evidence-based method portfolio; ensure alignment with organizational and sector standards; oversee partner onboarding and quality assurance processes; manage thematic coordinators and guide their work; drive continuous learning and adaptation of methods; represent the organization externally to shape policy and sector discourse; contribute to organizational planning and collaboration across departments; support safeguarding and participation standards; and ensure integration of monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning (MEAL) practices.

Qualifications

Relevant academic background in MHPSS or related fields; substantial experience in humanitarian or post-conflict mental health programs; demonstrated leadership of thematic portfolios; expertise in program design, quality assurance, and capacity building; proficiency in facilitating trainings and communities of practice; strong understanding of quality standards and MEAL integration; fluency in English; additional languages such as Arabic, Dari, French, Spanish, or Ukrainian are advantageous; and experience with digital collaboration tools.
