Responsibilities
Work extensively with quantitative datasets including cleaning, processing, validating, and preparing data for analysis. Conduct statistical analyses, investigate findings, identify patterns, and contribute to interpreting results. Prepare charts, visualizations, and analytical materials to support client-facing presentations and reports. Collaborate with project teams and method experts on study design, survey programming, fieldwork monitoring, analysis approaches, and result interpretation for ad-hoc and tracking studies. Utilize AI tools for drafting, structuring, and sense-checking outputs while applying sound judgment. Contribute to improving analytical processes, tools, and workflows. Gradually take ownership of larger analytical workstreams as expertise develops.
Qualifications
Master's degree or PhD in a quantitative discipline such as business, economics, psychology, statistics, mathematics, or data science. Solid grounding in statistics, quantitative research methods, and mathematical reasoning. Strong analytical and hands-on data skills with experience cleaning, processing, and analyzing quantitative datasets. Ability to clearly communicate analytical findings and explain methodologies to non-technical audiences. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace. Familiarity with AI tools like ChatGPT or Claude. Preferred but not required: practical experience through internships or assistant roles, working knowledge of Python or R, and familiarity with survey platforms. Fluency in English; German skills are advantageous but not mandatory.
