Responsibilities
Coordinate and supervise all logistics activities across two mission countries to ensure operational support aligns with internal procedures and donor requirements. Harmonize logistics procedures, identify and mitigate risks, contribute to contingency planning, support project development, and represent the organization in sector forums. Oversee procurement processes including market studies, contract management, and supplier evaluation. Manage transport fleet and vehicle safety, supervise stock and warehouse management, maintain assets records, and oversee office and facility maintenance. Lead and develop national logistics teams, monitor performance, and ensure continuous training. Prepare regular logistics reports, ensure compliance with financial and operational audits, and maintain transparent documentation.
Qualifications
Master's degree in logistics, supply chain management, international trade, or equivalent. Minimum 10 years of relevant experience including at least 5 years in humanitarian or development projects. Fluency in French required; English is an asset. Excellent organizational, analytical, and leadership skills. Ability to operate independently in complex security environments. Proficiency with advanced Excel and logistics software. Thorough knowledge of donor procedures and local market regulations in Burkina Faso and Mali.
