Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end transition activities and migration of local IT solutions to external and internal service providers, ensuring operational excellence and business continuity. Manage the decommissioning of legacy solutions in line with the company's architecture and transformation goals. Oversee a team responsible for governance, vendor performance, and collaboration with senior stakeholders. Develop and implement transition plans, monitor KPIs, manage risks, and ensure compliance. Facilitate stakeholder and change management, lead communication plans, and drive operational excellence post-transition. Establish governance models, manage incidents and crises, optimize service delivery, and steer vendor contracts. Drive continuous improvement initiatives and cost optimization efforts.
Qualifications
Minimum 10 years' experience leading complex IT outsourcing, shared services, or large-scale transition programs in international settings. Proven expertise in managing external service providers, offshore delivery models, and large-scale migration programs. Strong background in legacy system rationalization and decommissioning. Demonstrated ability to improve cost efficiency through outsourcing and consolidation. Excellent program and project management skills, with strong governance and risk management capabilities. University degree in IT, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field; advanced degrees are a plus. Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills, leadership presence, and ability to influence senior partners. Business fluent in English; German language skills are not required.
