A global industrial software company is hiring a Learning Technology Specialist to join their Learning Excellence team. The role involves administering and enhancing the LMS platform to deliver scalable, high-quality learning experiences to customers worldwide. Responsibilities
Enhance the learner experience by improving navigation, discovery, and enrolment flows. Administer and maintain the LMS platform including user management, catalogs, enrolments, gamification and reporting. Partner with internal teams to deliver platform improvements and operational excellence. Build and maintain system integrations via REST APIs and webhooks to automate and scale operations. Manage platform operations, coordinate with vendors, handle support tickets and perform root cause analyses. Maintain system health and security by implementing updates and improvements. Enable internal adoption by creating guidance and delivering training on LMS capabilities and best practices. Support learning content operations by creating reusable e-learning templates and managing publishing workflows.
Qualifications
Proven experience administering an enterprise LMS (Thought Industries preferred). Strong technical skills in platform configuration, troubleshooting, reporting, and support. Knowledge of SCORM and e-learning packaging standards. Hands-on experience with REST APIs and web services. Understanding of customer education in software environments including learning journeys and adoption strategies. Experience with Microsoft 365 tools and automation tools such as Power Automate. Excellent communication skills to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strong problem-solving skills and proactive mindset. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a global environment. Desired skills include front-end customization (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), SQL and analytics, familiarity with SSO and identity integrations, development tooling experience, understanding web fundamentals, and eCommerce/payment integrations.
