Responsibilities

Process purchase orders for IT hardware, software licenses, peripherals, and related services following company policies and approval workflows. Liaise with vendors to obtain quotes, track orders, and resolve discrepancies. Maintain the supplier database ensuring accuracy of vendor information and contracts. Assist senior buyers in sourcing activities, RFQ processes, and supplier comparisons. Collaborate with IT, Finance, and Operations teams to align procurement with project timelines and budgets. Track and report procurement KPIs such as lead times, cost savings, and vendor performance. Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and procurement guidelines.

Qualifications

Structured, reliable, proactive, and detail-oriented work approach. Basic understanding of procurement processes and purchase-to-pay cycle. Good communication skills and a collaborative team-oriented attitude. Familiarity with IT product categories is a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel including pivot tables and functions like SUMIF and XLOOKUP. Experience with ERP or procurement systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Coupa, ServiceNow) advantageous. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Professional proficiency in English; knowledge of German or other European languages is a plus.
