Responsibilities
Collaborate with senior engineers to design, build, and optimize backend features and APIs. Develop and maintain databases, data pipelines, and real-time integrations. Automate workflows to enhance reliability, scalability, and security of the platform. Work closely with data science and product teams to deliver energy trading and analytics features. Contribute improvements for greenfield and legacy systems. Participate in code reviews, pair programming, and team feedback sessions.
Qualifications
1 to 3 years of backend development experience, primarily in Python (Django or FastAPI preferred). Hands-on experience with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL and interest in data-driven products. Eagerness to learn API design, event-driven systems, and cloud technologies like AWS and Docker. Collaborative mindset with good English communication skills (B2 level or higher). Previous experience in international or cross-functional teams is a plus. Must be willing to learn both API and data/backend engineering topics.
