Responsibilities
Act as the main IT and Digital partner for the Commercial organization in Central Europe, ensuring reliable daily IT operations and supporting business processes. Build strong relationships with Commercial leadership to understand priorities and translate into IT demand. Coordinate with global and regional IT teams to align service delivery. Oversee rollout and stabilization of global commercial digital solutions, support change management and user adoption. Manage local IT demand pipeline and prioritize initiatives according to strategy and governance. Monitor vendor services, manage escalations, and ensure continuity. Drive operational stability and continuous improvements to reliability and user experience. Ensure compliance with security, data protection, and governance requirements. Communicate transparently on service status, risks, and dependencies.
Qualifications
Proven experience in business-facing IT roles supporting commercial or related functions in corporate or enterprise environments. University degree or equivalent in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Informatics or related fields. Experience working in global and regional IT organizations across matrix setups. Hands-on experience in IT service delivery, incident and service performance management. Background in supporting rollout and adoption of enterprise-level digital solutions. Experience managing external vendors and service providers with service oversight and escalation capabilities. Strong understanding of enterprise IT services including applications, end-user computing, and infrastructure. Ability to operate within governance frameworks for change, release, security and compliance. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, fluent English, and willingness to travel occasionally within Germany and Europe. German language skills are a plus but not strictly required.
