Responsibilities

Support commissioning, ramp-up, and stabilization of automated line and equipment modules; analyze and resolve technical issues during start-up and early operation; conduct hands-on troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and automation-related topics; support testing, adjustments, and optimization of automated processes; collaborate closely with laboratory, production, engineering, and maintenance teams; coordinate technical matters with external suppliers and follow up on open issues; improve availability, process stability, quality, and throughput; document technical findings and actions clearly and pragmatically.

Qualifications

Experience in automation, mechatronics, electrical, mechanical, production engineering, or a related technical field; practical experience with automated equipment, production lines, or laboratory automation; strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and automation system interactions; hands-on problem-solving mindset; structured and solution-oriented work style especially in ramp-up environments; good communication skills for internal and external collaboration; proficiency in English for technical communication; German language skills are a plus; availability for short-term on-site assignment in Jena.
