Responsibilities

Conduct high-voltage experiments and testing on systems above 30 kV; design, develop, and implement electrical systems and components; perform laboratory tasks including chemical handling and routine maintenance of high-voltage devices such as transformers, Tesla Coils, and HVDC supplies; collect, analyze, and document experimental data; troubleshoot technical issues collaboratively; adhere to high-voltage safety protocols and maintain a safe laboratory environment; communicate effectively with multi-disciplinary teams in English.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or related field; minimum 1 year of relevant hands-on experience; experience with high-voltage experiments; fluency in English; willingness to relocate to and work fully on-site in Berlin. Desirable: knowledge in electromagnetic field generation, HVAC and HVDC systems, prototype design, FEM and circuit simulation software, schematic design, laboratory equipment operation, and chemical handling. Availability to start immediately preferred.
