Responsibilities
Establish and scale the international Shared Services Center (SSC) for accounting; ensure standardized, timely, and compliant accounting aligned with IFRS and group policies; modernize accounting processes and workflows, including master data and cost allocation; manage month-end closing calendars and prepare consolidation packages; identify and implement automation opportunities to increase efficiency; coordinate with local outsourcing providers for tax and statutory reporting accuracy; report monthly to Group CFO on accounting quality, error rates, and team productivity.
Qualifications
Minimum 7 years relevant finance and accounting experience; proven mid to senior management experience within Shared Service Centers of international companies; experience managing accounting for multiple companies across jurisdictions; in-depth knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting; hands-on experience driving accounting process transformations and automation; experience managing large teams (up to 50 employees); degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics; fluent English; preferred: experience with Big 4 firms, familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, ACCA/CPA certification progress; strong analytical skills, hands-on leadership, and ability to influence organizational change.
