Responsibilities
Develop PCB layouts for power management IC silicon validation. Collaborate with Silicon Validation hardware teams to define board requirements, assist in schematic generation, and propose design trade-offs. Support PCB layout engineers resolving critical design issues. Provide accurate timeline estimates for project planning. Define best practice layout methodologies and delegate PCB layout tasks as needed, including to contractors.
Qualifications
BSc in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience. Fluency in English. Preferred: in-depth knowledge of PCB layout, signal and power integrity, experienced in dense and complex PCB design including HDI and fine pitch BGA fan-out using Cadence Allegro. Understanding of PCB manufacturing and assembly. Knowledge of DC-DC converters and power management units. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills with ability to work independently and make sound technical decisions.
