Responsibilities

- Ensure consistent application of process-based and risk-based quality management across global R&D teams. - Align R&D quality goals with overall business priorities and rail customer requirements. - Monitor and analyze R&D performance metrics to maintain transparency and comparability between sites. - Lead corrective actions and implement structured improvements based on KPI trends, audits, and project reviews. - Provide quality oversight for electronics R&D including hardware, PCB design, embedded systems, and component lifecycle management for rail applications. - Apply and control robust risk management practices such as design FMEA and hazard analysis. - Incorporate feedback from production, field performance, and service into R&D improvements. - Plan and execute internal audits of R&D and engineering interactions with production per ISO 22163, ISO 9001 standards.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or equivalent technical discipline. - Ideally possess quality management certifications such as IRIS Lead Auditor, ISO 22163/9001. - Minimum five years of experience in R&D and quality management within multi-site, global engineering settings interfacing with production. - Strong expertise in design transfer, industrialization, production ramp-up support, electronics development, design controls, configuration and change management. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a data-driven approach. - Ability to align global teams to standardized procedures and quality objectives, demonstrating independence and disciplined execution. - Fluency in English required; knowledge of additional European languages is advantageous.
