Responsibilities
Develop full-stack applications handling large geospatial datasets with excellent user experience. Design and implement scalable backend APIs and services for integration with third-party partners and customers. Own features from initial design through continuous monitoring and incident response. Collaborate within cross-functional teams comprising product managers, UX/UI designers, backend engineers, DevOps, ML, and geospatial experts. Participate in agile development cycles, code reviews, and agentic coding workflows incorporating AI-assisted programming.
Qualifications
Strong proficiency in TypeScript and React (alternatively VueJS or Preact). Experience in backend development using NestJS, Express, or Node.js with AWS infrastructure. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern software architecture. Practical experience with AI-assisted agentic coding workflows and test-driven development methodologies. Desirable skills include web-based geospatial or GIS application development and a good sense for UX and design to make autonomous design decisions.
