Enforce strict data quality protocols with validation, cross-source consistency, and formatting adherence. Scale operations efficiently through batching or parallelization, monitor for failures, and maintain scraping stability.
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in data engineering, web scraping, automation, or software development. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science or related technical fields is advantageous. Strong proficiency in Python web scraping frameworks like BeautifulSoup and Selenium, including experience working with dynamic content (JavaScript, AJAX, infinite scroll) and APIs via proxies. Expertise in extracting data from complex HTML structures. Solid skills in data cleaning, normalization, validation, and delivering structured datasets in formats such as CSV, JSON, and Google Sheets.
