Responsibilities
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and scenario modelling; partner with CEO to test assumptions and prioritize data-driven financial strategies; develop business cases for cost optimization, new products, and markets; prepare internal and external reporting; coordinate month-end and year-end closing processes; manage investor communications and financial diligence; own finance operations including invoicing, cash flow and payment processes across multiple countries and contract types; build relationships with customer finance contacts; support finance onboarding and offboarding; contribute to pricing, risk assessment, and business model optimization.
Qualifications
Master's degree in Finance, Business, Economics or related field, or equivalent experience; minimum 2 years full-time experience in demanding finance or strategy roles such as startups, consultancies, or investment banking; strong understanding of finance operations, accounting, and reporting; business fluent English (C1/C2) mandatory; German language skills considered a plus; entrepreneurial, proactive mindset with ability to work independently under uncertainty; strong communication skills and ability to engage with senior stakeholders; familiarity with AI and automation in finance processes.
