Responsibilities
Support day-to-day transaction processing and bookkeeping using ERP systems including taxation topics; assist with month-end close, board and investor reporting including budgets vs actuals tracking and variance analysis; develop financial models to evaluate business decisions and planning; support CFO in preparing materials for future financing rounds including Series B preparation; maintain accurate financial records across a multi-entity group structure; support procurement process including vendor onboarding, purchase orders, and invoice tracking; assist in evaluating supplier quotes and supporting purchasing decisions.
Qualifications
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field; strong Excel skills with experience in financial modeling preferred; detail-oriented with high accuracy standards; comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced startup environment; genuine interest in sustainability, biotechnology, or impact-driven businesses; excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; fluency in German is a plus.
