Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day transaction processing and bookkeeping using ERP systems (Odoo, DATEV), including taxation - Assist with month-end close, board and investor reporting, including budget tracking and variance analysis - Develop financial models to support business decisions and planning - Support CFO in preparation for debt and equity financing rounds - Maintain accurate financial records across multiple entities - Assist in procurement processes including vendor onboarding, purchase orders, invoice tracking, and supplier quote evaluation
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field - Strong Excel skills; financial modelling experience is a plus - Detail-oriented with high accuracy standards - Comfortable with ambiguity and proactive - Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced startup - Genuine interest in sustainability, biotechnology, or impact-driven businesses - Excellent written and verbal English skills; German fluency is a plus
