Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate organisational initiatives to improve finance and business systems including system implementation and transformation projects. Own the administration and functional governance of finance systems and related components across business systems, ensuring that data structures, configurations, and access controls comply with internal controls and reporting requirements. Collaborate with Finance, IT, and operational stakeholders to enhance system usability, controls, and compliance. Manage user access, roles, segregation of duties, and ensure system scalability and alignment with strategic needs. Provide leadership on finance-related aspects within other business systems such as procurement and HR. Deliver training and functional support to system users, maintain documentation, and promote consistent application of financial governance across portfolios. Support audit processes and assist in financial planning and decision-making by providing clear financial inputs and analyses. Coordinate with global teams and support system coordination and improvements across multiple countries and contexts.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems or related field. Professional finance qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA) preferred. Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience in finance systems, financial data management or finance operations, including working with ERP systems such as Unit4. Experience leading or supporting finance system implementations and enhancements is desirable. Strong understanding of finance systems architecture, internal controls, data governance, and system-based control frameworks. Proven ability to engage senior stakeholders and facilitate cross-functional collaboration. Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal) required; additional languages such as Dutch are an advantage. Proficient with reporting tools (Excel, Power BI) and strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Experience working in complex, international environments is a plus.
