Responsibilities
Perform diagnostics, repair, and on-site technical support for UPS systems; execute commissioning activities (L2–L5), system testing, and verification; provide expert support for critical escalations and conduct root-cause analysis; deliver training to field engineers, service partners, and customers; develop and maintain service documentation and spare-parts lists; support and manage a network of EMEA service partners; collaborate with sales and product teams to address customer needs and identify service opportunities.
Qualifications
Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar; at least 3 years of experience with UPS or power-electronics systems; strong understanding of power infrastructure and electrical systems; good communication and problem-solving skills; ability to work independently; customer-focused with willingness to travel within EMEA; fluent English skills; additional languages valued. Preferred: experience in data centers or mission-critical environments; knowledge of battery technologies and monitoring systems; relevant electrical safety certifications.
