Responsibilities

Adhere strictly to staff rules and management commands ensuring safe equipment use. Manage normal operations of hotel power, water, gas, heating, and cooling systems. Maintain accurate equipment and shift handover records. Inspect and maintain equipment and facilities to ensure operational safety and efficiency. Implement energy-saving measures and monitor consumption. Support maintenance related to banquets and meetings. Test and maintain emergency power generators. Oversee fire prevention measures and enforce compliance. Train and supervise technicians and apprentices. Manage tools usage and enforce disciplinary measures as necessary.

Qualifications

Experience in facility or engineering technician role in hospitality or related industry preferred. Knowledge of regulatory compliance and safety standards. Skills in equipment maintenance, energy management, emergency preparedness, and fire safety supervision. Ability to train and develop technical staff. Strong organizational and communication skills. Fluency in English required; German language skills not mandatory but may be advantageous.
