Responsibilities
Manage a small product team of 3-5 engineers including backend and frontend developers. Spend approximately 30% of time on management tasks and remain actively involved in product development. Participate in hiring and onboarding processes and support peers with recruitment. Act as team spokesperson managing dynamics, providing continuous feedback, career coaching, and fostering team growth. Redesign engineering workflows using autonomous agents to optimize execution and speed. Propose and implement agentic workflows end-to-end while ensuring quality through verification mechanisms.
Qualifications
Proven experience managing an engineering team of at least two people. Strong backend development expertise with knowledge of Elixir/Phoenix, Ruby, or other functional programming languages. Demonstrated ability in building production systems that are secure, reliable and scalable. Experience designing or adopting agentic or automation workflows and iteratively improving them. Excellent communication, organizational skills, and a people-first leadership approach. Commitment to diversity, equality, and inclusion, along with strong automation and AI capabilities.
