Responsibilities

Lead and support a team of engineers in daily development and career growth. Manage the design, execution, and iterative delivery of reliable, cost-effective, and scalable features for pricing services. Ensure high service reliability for a low-latency, high-throughput system used across 60+ countries. Collaborate with product partners to align technical solutions with business goals. Monitor and own team tech metrics and KPIs, and provide hands-on guidance as needed.

Qualifications

Proven experience managing engineering teams in software development, with a strong grasp of core programming concepts and paradigms. Skilled in Java/Kotlin and comfortable with microservices, API- and event-based architectures. Experience with Kubernetes and AWS cloud infrastructure, plus Infrastructure as Code methodologies. Good understanding of team collaboration and dependency management in cross-functional environments. Bonus: knowledge of pricing domain, A/B testing, data science model deployment, and willingness to mentor junior developers. English proficiency required; German not mandatory.
