Responsibilities
Lead day-to-day execution of the Edge AI team, manage sprint roadmaps and delivery milestones, oversee migration to autonomous agentic AI setups, define technical direction for large language model systems with tradeoffs between quality, latency and cost, build a data-informed engineering culture tracking metrics and improving throughput, hire and mentor engineering and ML staff including interns, and foster an environment supporting growth and high performance.
Qualifications
Proven leadership experience in ML/AI engineering or data science with delivery of production AI products, deep technical expertise in LLM system design including retrieval augmented generation, embeddings, and orchestration frameworks like LangChain or LlamaIndex, proficiency in Python and AI/ML libraries such as PyTorch and HuggingFace Transformers, experience with MLOps and CI/CD best practices, demonstrated ability to launch AI features end-to-end, and strong skills in managing teams with clarity, empathy, accountability, navigating ambiguity, and stakeholder management across technical and non-technical domains.
