Responsibilities
Lead the execution of AI and machine learning initiatives, managing a team of engineers to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions. Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of AI/ML models and services, ensuring alignment with business goals. Provide technical guidance, resolve challenges, and foster a culture of innovation and collaboration. Manage roadmap delivery, implement process improvements, and communicate technical context effectively across diverse audiences. Support hiring, training, and retention of top talent while maintaining operational excellence in AI/ML engineering.
Qualifications
Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, Software Engineering, or a related field. At least 7 years of experience in engineering or data science roles with focus on machine learning, including 3+ years in leadership managing teams of 5 or more. Proven hands-on coding experience delivering large-scale ML models and NLP solutions. Strong proficiency in Python, ML libraries (pandas, scikit-learn, keras, PyTorch), SQL, data pipeline technologies (Apache Kafka, AWS/GCP services), containerization (Kubernetes, Docker), and cloud-based microservices. Excellent communication skills in English (upper intermediate or higher) and fluency in Ukrainian.
