Responsibilities
Design and develop new drivers and firmware for ARM-based embedded systems; adapt, improve, and extend existing software for satellite subsystems and ground testing devices; design and implement automated test software to verify system functionality; collaborate with other engineering teams to solve complex technical problems; write documentation and reports; adapt to new technical challenges in satellite development.
Qualifications
Degree in software or engineering field (or equivalent) with 3+ years of embedded software development experience; strong knowledge of C programming and ARM microcontrollers; experience with SPI, UART, CAN, hardware abstraction layers, modular software design; ability to read schematics and datasheets; fluent in English (written and spoken); interest in space technology. Additional desirable qualifications include experience in C++, unit testing, encryption and secure communications, control systems, image processing, and power systems knowledge.
