Responsibilities
Own hardware design from initial schematic to prototype layout, validation, and flight-ready testing. Design high-speed digital electronics ensuring signal integrity, timing accuracy, power distribution, and EMC compliance. Develop and enhance validation processes and test infrastructure for electronics. Optimize electronics to meet tight constraints on size, weight, power, and thermal management. Collaborate closely with software, embedded, mechanical, and flight test teams throughout product development. Improve lab infrastructure and testing methodologies to maintain rigorous quality standards.
Qualifications
Degree in electrical or electronics engineering, or comparable hands-on experience. Proven track record of owning hardware design through all stages including testing and validation. Experience with building or improving electronics test infrastructure. Familiarity with constraint-driven design considerations related to size, weight, and power, ideally in aerospace, robotics, or defense sectors. Hands-on debugging skills and ability to take ownership in dynamic, startup-like environments. Preferred candidates have experience working in fast-paced startup settings and enjoy solving ambiguous technical challenges.
