Responsibilities
- Own and set long-term pricing and packaging strategies, including transitioning from seat-based to outcome-based pricing for AI services. - Define packaging tiers, unbundling, and add-ons to align monetization with product evolution. - Design AI monetization models with appropriate value metrics and margin protections. - Drive monetization outcomes including revenue growth and margin improvement. - Conduct pricing experiments and customer research to validate pricing approaches. - Establish discount policies and maintain pricing discipline alongside Sales and Finance. - Build and lead the pricing and packaging team with a focus on strategic analysis over administration. - Partner with executives across Product, Sales, and Finance to communicate strategy and impact.
Qualifications
- 10+ years senior experience in B2B SaaS with direct pricing and packaging ownership. - Proven experience monetizing AI, API, or platform products with strong views on value metrics. - Led major repricing or repackaging initiatives at companies with $100M+ ARR. - Excellent quantitative skills, personally managing financial models. - Track record influencing C-level decisions in Product, Sales, and Finance. - Strong commitment to maintaining pricing integrity under pressure. - Preferred background in enterprise service or IT management software, plus channel and partner pricing experience.
