Responsibilities
Prepare and cook food according to recipes and presentation standards; regulate temperatures of cooking equipment; thaw and prepare food items; maintain food logs and monitor quality and quantity. Communicate kitchen needs, menu specials, and stock status. Assist management in recruitment, training, scheduling, evaluation, discipline, and motivation of staff; serve as a role model. Follow safety and security policies; report maintenance and safety issues. Maintain personal and uniform appearance; ensure confidentiality and protection of company assets. Provide excellent guest service and support team goals. Perform physical tasks involving lifting, bending, and prolonged standing. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Technical, trade, or vocational school degree preferred. Minimum of 3 years related work experience. No supervisory experience required. No license or certification necessary.
