Responsibilities
Define and own the enterprise analytics architecture across Microsoft Fabric and Databricks, aligning platform design with business scale and long-term data strategy. Architect and optimize large-scale semantic and data models, implement and govern a metrics layer ensuring clear definitions and versioned transformations. Design and enforce data governance and access control policies. Lead system-level performance diagnostics to identify and resolve bottlenecks across data modeling, processing, and capacity management.
Qualifications
Strong production experience with Microsoft Fabric and Power BI Premium capacity under high concurrency. Hands-on expertise with Databricks and SparkSQL, including performance optimization and data governance using Unity Catalog. Proven ability to build and scale a metrics layer architecture, preferably with DBT, in an enterprise environment. Systems thinking approach with the ability to diagnose complex performance issues across data modeling, compute, and capacity layers.
