Responsibilities
Plan configuration management processes within projects and product teams; support business units and projects in configuration management application; identify, plan, and define product structure for hardware and software; allocate manufacturer and material numbers for in-house components; participate in change control board decisions; manage change management processes; define guidelines for implementing changes; plan and conduct configuration audits; maintain configuration records and documentation; define and monitor configuration statuses; approve project documentation; safeguard development results and archive product-related documents; provide status information on delivered products; improve and maintain the configuration management system in SAP; plan and deliver training courses in configuration management.
Qualifications
Completed Bachelor's degree in engineering or state-certified technician qualification; several years of experience in configuration management; very good knowledge of MS Office and SAP in materials management, configuration management, and change management; in-depth knowledge of configuration processes; current CM2/CMPIC 1–4, 10 certification; very good command of spoken and written English; willingness to travel worldwide.
