Responsibilities

Prepare special meals and substitute items; regulate ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters temperatures; thaw food properly; ensure proper portions, arrangement, and garnish; maintain food logs; monitor food quality and quantity; communicate assistance needs during busy periods; inform Chef of excess food and communicate menu specials and out-of-stock items to service staff. Prepare and cook food according to recipes and quality standards; assist in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating employees; adhere to safety policies; maintain cleanliness and professional appearance; safeguard proprietary information; support guest service needs; listen and respond to colleagues; stand, sit, walk for extended periods; lift and move objects up to 25 pounds; perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications

Technical, trade, or vocational school degree preferred; minimum three years related experience required; no supervisory experience required; no specific licenses or certifications required.
