Responsibilities
Design, build, and operate core cloud platform capabilities using Google Cloud Platform. Implement infrastructure as code (Terraform), automation, and observability. Develop Go-based services for cloud governance. Mentor and coach team members. Prioritize backlog and balance feature delivery with operational stability. Enable product teams for secure and effective cloud adoption. Collaborate with other squads to ensure service integration and alignment. Drive security initiatives and integrate third-party providers into cloud security governance.
Qualifications
Deep experience with Google Cloud Platform services including IAM, organization policies, VPC, DNS, Cloud Storage, serverless computing, Pub/Sub, BigQuery, and Cloud Monitoring. Strong understanding of cloud security, IAM roles, and compliance at scale. Proficiency in Terraform and cloud infrastructure automation. Knowledge of cloud networking and hybrid cloud scenarios. Skilled in modern programming languages, preferably Go. Experience with cost management and budgeting in cloud environments. Proven ability to lead technical initiatives and mentor engineers. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills. Fluent in English (written and spoken).
