Responsibilities
Develop, validate, and maintain multi-sensor calibration procedures for robotic platforms including cameras, LiDAR, and radar. Analyze and optimize camera intrinsic and extrinsic parameters. Investigate and resolve calibration issues to enhance sensor accuracy, robustness, and repeatability. Collaborate with perception, robotics, and hardware teams to integrate sensor systems. Automate calibration and verification workflows. Support system testing in lab and field deployments. Drive continuous improvements in sensor integration and perception quality.
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Mechatronics, Automation Engineering or related field. 2-3+ years of practical experience in sensor calibration for robotics, autonomous or industrial automation systems. Proficient with ROS/ROS2 and robotic software ecosystems. Strong knowledge of camera calibration, lens distortion, optical systems, and multi-sensor calibration techniques. Experience with robotic/mechatronic systems. Excellent analytical skills and precision mindset. Fluent English. NATO member or allied nationality required. Experience with autonomous robots, perception systems, and computer vision libraries is advantageous.
