Responsibilities

Develop, test, improve, and maintain calibration software and processes for mobile mapping systems across their full lifecycle. Collaborate closely with production and hardware teams to identify and resolve calibration issues. Create and maintain detailed technical documentation for calibration procedures. Monitor and enhance data quality through improved calibration methods.

Qualifications

Master's degree or Ph.D. in computer science, electrical engineering, or similar. Minimum 3 years experience in sensor calibration, ideally with cameras, laser scanners/LIDARs, and IMUs. Proficient in C++ and Python programming, with experience in libraries such as Boost, Eigen, and OpenCV. Skilled in Linux command line use. Experience in modeling and solving optimization problems related to 2D/3D geometry correspondences. Passion for data quality and process improvement.
