Responsibilities
Develop core features for the online shop to create seamless, personalized, and trustworthy shopping experiences. Build and extend backend services across various domains supporting internal and external applications. Create and consume API endpoints based on defined contracts. Collaborate using RabbitMQ for scalable asynchronous communication between services. Deliver new features designed for high performance and scalability. Participate in open feedback culture and communicate effectively within the team.
Qualifications
Proven ability to design and build backend services at scale with Node.js and TypeScript. Strong knowledge of REST APIs and HTTP protocol. DevOps mindset including experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines. Ability to take ownership of code from development through testing and deployment. Comfortable collaborating with non-technical stakeholders and working proactively within a team. Fluent English communication skills; German language not required.
