Responsibilities

Assist the Kitchen Manager in daily meal production and kitchen operations; actively participate in food preparation and cooking; ensure accurate and timely completion of prep lists; monitor food quality, consistency, and standards adherence; oversee food holding and refrigeration temperature controls; ensure compliance with HACCP and food safety regulations; maintain cleanliness and sanitation across kitchen areas; perform daily line checks and station closings; manage cleaning schedules; coordinate and support kitchen staff during service and prep; train team members on safe equipment use and procedures; assist in planning schedules and delegating responsibilities; assist with inventory control, ordering, and menu planning; participate in kitchen organization and implementation of SOPs.
