Responsibilities
Design, develop, deploy, and maintain the Android application of the company's product. Work closely with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to deliver seamless user experiences. Shape Kotlin Multiplatform strategy and mobile architecture. Own full Android application lifecycle including architecture, development, deployment, maintenance, feature delivery, and continuous improvement. Ensure high quality code through automated testing, code reviews, and CI/CD practices. Monitor app performance and crash rates. Collaborate in scoping, planning, implementation, and review processes. Continuously improve usability and performance based on user feedback and data-driven insights.
Qualifications
5+ years of professional experience in Android software development. Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java; experience with Kotlin Multiplatform is a plus. Experience with Dagger, Koin, Coroutines, Flow, MVVM, Clean Architecture, Jetpack Compose, REST, and Room/SQLDelight. Familiarity with testing frameworks including JUnit, MockK, Espresso for unit and UI testing. Solid understanding of software architecture, scalable systems, and code optimization. Experience with Gradle and Kotlin DSL. Familiarity with Git, CI/CD workflows such as GitLab Pipelines and Fastlane, Crashlytics, and Google Play Console. Ownership mindset, strong communication and collaboration skills. Fluent English; German language skills are a plus but not required.
