Responsibilities
Support efficient and high-quality execution of general ledger accounting; independently manage general ledger postings for multiple international entities; post accruals, provisions, intercompany transactions, and other entries in compliance with legal and internal guidelines; serve as point of contact for internal and external inquiries; analyze balance sheet and P&L accounts to identify discrepancies and support corrective measures; contribute to process, policy, and internal control improvements; optimize and automate general ledger processes; assist in preparation of monthly and annual financial statements under HGB and IFRS; coordinate closely with internal teams and external auditors; ensure compliance with applicable regulations and corporate policies.
Qualifications
Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field with focus on Finance, Accounting, or Controlling; several years of professional experience in general ledger accounting within an international environment; solid knowledge of accounting principles, financial statement preparation, and relevant accounting and tax regulations; proficiency in ERP systems and reporting tools, knowledge of SAP Business by Design or Vena preferred; strong analytical, structured, and solution-oriented work approach combined with numerical skills; excellent written and spoken English, additional languages like German, Dutch, or French are a plus; a team player with initiative, accuracy, and strong sense of responsibility.
